Year 13 Hard Materials Design and build

In Year 13 Hard Materials I have designed and been making a surf board specifically for the waves at Warrington beach.

The plan is to use it in warmer months when the waves are good. It is being built using NZ grown timber called paulownia, making it durable and lightweight. For extra longevity, it will be finished with epoxy resin and fiberglass. This project has me super psyched for summer
