We’re proud to celebrate Wyatt Meade (Year 13), who has been named Alternate Captain of the Junior Thunder U18 Ice Hockey Team—a well-deserved recognition of his kind leadership and strong presence both on and off the ice.
Wyatt is a fantastic role model for the younger players, consistently demonstrating dedication, teamwork, and humility. His calm and supportive leadership style has earned him the respect of teammates and coaches alike.
The team kicked off the first round of the Nationals right here in Dunedin over the Term Two holidays, facing tough competition in what is shaping up to be one of the strongest seasons yet. With upcoming rounds scheduled in Auckland and Queenstown, the team will be working hard to stay sharp before the final round returns to Dunedin in the Term Three school holidays.
