The rain may have changed our plans, but Toroa still enjoyed a fantastic school-based House Day filled with energy, laughter, and plenty of house spirit.
We embraced the weather with a tug of war in the rain before moving into the auditorium for a fun and competitive quiz led by Ms. Norris. That was followed by some enthusiastic karaoke performances that kept the atmosphere lively right through to lunchtime. A huge thank you to our wonderful Year 13 students, who did an amazing job running the BBQs and keeping everyone well fed.
After lunch, the action continued in the gym with a range of games, finishing with a much-anticipated lollie scramble and a Kahoot challenge to round out the day. Our thanks go to staff for their quick-thinking organisation and flexibility, and to Toroa students for their positive energy, teamwork, and great attitude throughout the day. It was a memorable House Day, and while we made the most of being indoors, we’ll certainly be looking forward to getting back outside next year.
