Three Peaks

On Sunday March 15th, three students and two staff members took part in the 2026 Three Peaks race here in Dunedin. Ms Kim, Ms Caulfield, Anna Goodin, Laura Simpson, and Archie McKinlay all competed in the 26km race that included over 1,400m of elevation gain.

They started at 9:00am at Woodhaugh St and ran through Ross Creek, up the Pineapple track to Flagstaff, then across and up to Swampy Summit, and down to Leith Valley Rd. At this point they were only half way, and still had to go up the motorway side of Mt Cargill, down to Bethune’s Gully, and finally a 2km stretch to Chingford Park. This race was both physically and mentally challenging but everyone completed it and will be back next year.
