With Term 1 well under way, we have loved diving straight into the sporting season. It has been fantastic to see so many students involved, competing with pride, and giving their best across a wide range of activites.
We have already witnessed some outstanding performances and, even more importantly, some incredible leadership and service to sport within our school community.
We would especially like to acknowledge students who are going above and beyond.
⭐ Indy Johnson – Year 9
Congratulations to Indy Johnson (Year 9), who stepped up to play goalie for the Senior A Girls Futsal team.
Indy is new to Logan Park Futsal and has shown tremendous courage and commitment by taking on such a key role. To step into a senior team as a Year 9 student is no small feat — and she has handled it brilliantly.
What a star!
⭐ Meka Howard – Year 12
Congratulations to Meka Howard (Year 12), who is co-coaching the Junior Kiwi Volleyball team.
Meka has shown real leadership and initiative in supporting younger players, and her coaching efforts have not gone unnoticed. We were thrilled to receive a message of acknowledgement from an OGHS parent praising the quality of her coaching.
What a star!
⭐ Charlotte Fleming – Year 13
Congratulations to Charlotte Fleming (Year 13), who continues to make an outstanding contribution to sport at Logan Park.
Charlotte is actively involved in coaching and leads the Student Sports Leadership Team. This week, she was named Head Sports Prefect — a well-deserved recognition of her dedication, leadership, and service.
What a star!
A big thank you as well to BurgerFuel for sponsoring our Sports Legend of the Week. We are grateful for their ongoing support of sport at Logan Park High School.
We look forward to celebrating many more achievements as the season continues!
