Te Awhi Rito New Zealand Reading Ambassador Visit

Last week, Year 9 students loved hearing the inspiring and affirming words of Alan Dingley, the Te Awhi Tito New Zealand Reading Ambassador.

Alan drew on his personal experiences to champion the importance of reading as a powerful force to make all of our lives better, richer, wiser and just…more fun. We already know this at Logan Park – with the library one of the most popular destinations in the school and the excitement already building for this term’s Library Week – but it was great to hear our school’s love of the written word celebrated and confirmed by such an entertaining and inspiring ambassador!
