Hi, I’m Savarna. I came to Logan Park in Year 11 and started off my first day by getting dramatically lost in the science department. Don’t ask me how, but I promise you it can be done. I’ve gone on to get lost a few more times, finally use the school map that I might have found handy to begin with but overall, really, just have a lovely time.

I enjoy music, reading, writing, crafts and football, and play violin and viola in the school orchestra and am a part of the LPHS girls football team. I would love to be able to travel to Europe one day, especially Italy and Spain – although I’m sure there’d be a lot of things that I’d end up missing about Dunedin and I hope that my home will always be somewhere in Aotearoa. Some other goals include going on a road trip (better get my license, a car and a proper job), knitting a jumper and playing in the National Youth Orchestra.

I’m looking forward to learning more, meeting new people and making the most of my final year of school in 2025.
