Grace Fagerlund, Head Prefect 2024

Three words to describe me? My friends said they would describe me as creative, passionate, and kind 🙂

What is my proudest moment? I think that being one of the 2024 head prefects and giving my speech at the end of year senior prizegiving are definitely up there with my proudest moments. Despite all the performances I’ve done, standing up in front of my peers and trying to do justice to not just my own time at Logan Park but also the experiences we’d shared together was definitely something I felt I put a lot of pressure on myself for, and I was really proud to be standing up there. It was an amazing conclusion to my high school career that little Year 9 me could only dream of.

Outside of school, some of my favourite things to do are theatre and crafts. I love performing and can’t get enough of the stage, and when I’m not rehearsing for anything I also love to sew or crochet! I like being able to create things from basically nothing using my own hands, and I find it’s a nice way to wind down after a day of school or work.

Why do I love school? I’ve always enjoyed learning new things and meeting new people, so school has been a place for me to indulge in that. Logan Park drew me as a year nine by the focus on growing individuals to their fullest potential. I still have a lot of room to grow, but LPHS has definitely pushed me forwards a long way to becoming the person I am now.
