Alex Brown

When I asked my friends to describe me in three words, I was told I was simple, stupid and short (thanks Gracie). Luckily, I was then told I am hardworking, committed and compassionate.

In class I enjoyed Chemistry, Biology and Calculus this year. Outside of class, I spent my time playing volleyball and handball, as well as playing social deductions games like mafia and werewolf at breaks. It is honestly surprising that we are all still friends, considering the amount of time we spent arguing with each other this year. I also was part of the formal committee, yearbook committee and contributed to the organisation of our leavers gear with the other head prefects. These experiences have helped me develop interpersonal and organisational skills that I will take with me and use in my future.

While I am very proud of my achievements this year, including being selected as one of our head prefects this year, my proudest achievement at Logan Park was organising our school formal. Working with Hope, Harry, Stella and Mrs Farr was such a great experience and taught me a lot of skills that I had not learned in class. All of our hard work came together to create an amazing night that (hopefully) everyone enjoyed.
