Coastal Bus Services.  Parents on the north coast have reported many concerns about the bus services to school.  These include suitability of timings for the public bus and access to the Ministry funded bus at Seacliff.  Many families are transporting students to and from school by car.  Car pooling may be a better option for some.  If you would like to consider this, please contact Marianne Deans via email marianne.inthesoup@gmail.com

Homework Club

Logan Park will be providing an after school Homework Club.

The club will run from 3.30 to 4.30 on Mondays to Wednesdays in the School Library, and Thursdays in the Whanau room.  It is open to both senior and junior students and will be supervised by experienced teachers.

Students may bring homework with them, including work for NCEA internal assessment tasks; or undertake revision for final exams.  Supervising teachers may be able to assist students with their work, but it will not always be the case that any given subject is covered on a particular day.

Students present will be able to complete work using the school computer network and broadband internet facility.  Issuing of Library books for borrowing will not be possible.

We believe this is a valuable learning opportunity for many students.

The Maori and Pacific Islands Homework Group also meets in the Whanau room on Thursdays, from 3.30pm to 5pm. All welcome!
