The beginning of Term Three has had many sports succsesses.
Congratulations to Harrison Osborne who has been selected for the Otago U14 Basketball team.
Harrison will attend two tournaments in the lower South Island.
Highlights of the Week:
The Boys Football 1st XI had a 4-1 win over Bayfield this week. The boys have scored 17 goals over the season and are close to making a semi-final in two weeks, sitting 5th on the table.
The Junior A Boys and Girls Basketball teams had good wins the first Friday back after the school break. The boys beat John McGlashan 44-26 and the girls won their game against St Hildas 46-24.
Our Curling team is going from strength to strength with a 6-1 win over Bayfield this week. Elsie Hyink demonstrated skill to lead us in the win.
The Netball girls had some good wins on Saturday and the hard work this season is paying off. Junior Kiwi won against Queens B 41-7 and Senior Tui won against Bayfield A 23-11.
All sports teams are in the final 3 to 4 weeks of the Winter Sports season. Wishing all teams the best on making Semi finals.
