A gathering of proud whānau, impressed peers, and relieved art students took place last week to celebrate this year’s senior art folios.
The Art Department takes great pride in the diverse and individual nature of the visual inquiries presented. Topics ranged from the media’s portrayal of war, the art of the mundane, to a new perspective on the female gaze, the joy of rural childhood, and abstract representations of nature. We continue to be amazed by the intelligence and nuance that LPHS art students bring to their work.
