The results tell part of the story, but what really stands out is how the team grew together. From the first training session to the finals, the progress has been huge – skills sharpened, confidence boosted, and trust built on and off the court. Who would have predicted the season we’ve had? Every bit of it comes down to the commitment and effort of the players. We put in the long hours, extra sessions, and hard work, but along the way there’s been plenty of laughs, support, and shared moments that made it all worth it.
A huge shoutout to our 13-strong women’s team: Maeve O’Brien, Niamh East Giles, Isabel Taylor, Grace Duxbury, Charlotte Fleming, Salma Johannessen, Emily Fotheringham, Lucia Howe, Anna Goodin, Violet Middlemass, Phoenix Hanna-Barltrop, Sophie Campbell, Amali Addai. Through the tough training and extra sessions, we’ve had a lot of fun and shared some unforgettable moments together. Special shoutout to our leavers, Phoenix and Sophie – your leadership, energy, and dedication have shaped this team, and we can’t wait to see where your next adventures take you.
This season proves what can happen when we work hard, stick together, and push each other. At the end of the day, we score off our own, and everything else… is a gift.
