In the beginning of April our school came together for a special Race Unity Assembly.
Together we celebrated the rich cultural diversity that makes our community so unique. The event opened with a powerful kapa haka performance, showcasing Māori traditions.
We also learned that our school is home to students from many different countries, each bringing their own stories, traditions, and perspectives. It was a chance to reflect on how our differences make us stronger, and how unity is built through respect, kindness, and understanding.
The assembly was a reminder that no matter where we come from, we all belong here.
