OSM Wanaka Multi

On Friday October 18th, Aedan, Bianca, Lauren and Fynn headed to Wanaka to compete in the OSM multi sport duathlon.

After a night at the Albert Town DOC tenting and a yummy camp cooked burger, Aedan and Fynn began the 44km MTB trail ride up the Clutha river and around the edge of the lake. After about 2 hours they arrived at the running transition where they gave their timing chip anklets to Lauren and Bianca who continued through to the finish line after a 14km trail run.  With a quick swim in the lake and visit to Wanaka Wastebusters, they headed home with the 2 teams placing 3rd and 4th overall in the duathlon category.
