Mana Pounamu Young Achievers awards

In the last week of Term 2, students, kaiako and whānau attended the annual Mana Pounamu Young Achievers awards.

It was held at the Otago University College of Education auditorium to celebrate the success of Maori leaders throughout the Otago region.

It was a very packed room and a great afternoon supporting this year’s LPHS recipients. We had a group of 25 students, kaiako and whānau attend where we all stood in support to do the School Haka to congratulate Ally-May Sharma (Tuakana) and Fayth Rakatau (Teina) in their amazing mahi both at school and in the community.
