The library was transformed into a vibrant marketplace during lunchtime on Friday of Week 2.
This event was the result of a Year 10 Product Design unit focused on designing for specific target markets whilst accurately calculating costs — a real-world approach to understanding both design and entrepreneurship.
The event was a collaborative effort, as art students and the Learning Support class also contributed, adding their own creations. The market offered something for everyone, with tables filled with an array of jewelry, crafts, art, accessories and food.
This experience allowed students to see their designs take shape and interact with customers, gathering valuable feedback, refining their ideas, and sharing their passions. The event was a celebration of talent and teamwork, leaving students inspired for their upcoming creative projects.
