LPHS Students Impress at City Council with Theatre Submission

We’re proud to acknowledge the impressive efforts of Charlie Milne and Eva Reynolds, current students at Logan Park High School, along with Rowan Metreyeon, a recent graduate.

These talented young people were part of a group of five actors who recently presented a submission to the Dunedin City Council in support of the Children’s Theatre at the Playhouse.

The team had only a short time to prepare, including a session last Saturday and additional work done independently at home. Despite the tight timeline, their presentation to the council was polished, engaging, and deeply professional. They are seeking support to maintain and improve the well-loved facilities used and appreciated by so many over the years.

Their heartfelt submission not only demonstrated skill and confidence but also a strong commitment to the arts and the wider community. We commend Charlie, Eva, and Rowan for their leadership, collaboration, and dedication—and wish them the very best in seeking support to continue the proud tradition of the Playhouse.
