Get 2 Go – Logan Park Teams Compete at Otago/Southland Challenge

Logan Park High School attended the annual Otago/Southland Get 2 Go Challenge, held on September 13th in Dunedin.

The event, which featured paddle boarding, orienteering, and mountain biking, saw 24 schools from the region compete in a thrilling relay format with each event running for 50 mins. 

Logan Park High School fielded two teams, each demonstrating teamwork and skill throughout the day. The first team, consisting of Ngaio Parker, Maeve O’Brien, Kat Brasell-Jagger, Emily Bertram, Lee Shotter, Monty McGee, and Ollie Warrington, showcased their prowess in all three challenges. The second team, comprised of Casey Revill, Salma Johannessen, Anika Leigh, Seb Allan, Levi Milner, Robert Court, and Jim Bryant, also performed admirably.

The Get 2 Go Challenge is a fantastic introduction to adventure racing, emphasizing teamwork and problem-solving. Participants from all schools enjoyed the day, pushing themselves to their limits and fostering a competitive yet supportive atmosphere.

Logan Park has competed at the Otago/Southland Get 2 Go Challenge for over 15 years and highlights our commitment to giving students experience of a variety of sporting activities which promote teamwork. The event was a resounding success, providing a memorable experience for all involved even if the weather was chilly!
