Hockey – Logan Park Girls Focus Set on Tournament

During our season of girls hockey for 2025 we went in with a great positive attitude hoping to use this season to improve our skills as a team and with the goal of succeeding more than previous years.

Thanks to a lucky opportunity, we were even given the chance to have a training session with some of the players from our national hockey team the black sticks!

This season we were able to make our way up to the semi finals where we played in a shoot-out for the first time! We are all very proud as the team was able to place 3rd in our grade. Even though it was a tough season with many sicknesses and injuries we are happy to be going into tournament week with a full squad! We hope our trip to Invercargill will be a great opportunity to show off our skill and progress as a team while also having fun! We would all like to say a big thanks to Dr T for being such an amazing coach this season with your endless support and for always believing in us and to our captain Maddy who has constantly helped our team strive for the best.
