Logan Park Curling Team Makes an Impact at SISS Tournament

The SISS Curling Tournament in Dunedin saw a fantastic performance from the Logan Park High School combined team.

Led by experienced curler Talika – a talented curler from Dunstan High School with six years of experience –  Elsie Hyink, William Stanley, and Sam Smith all from Logan Park made an impact.

Despite only starting to curl in May 2024, the Logan Park team made significant strides throughout the tournament. Their dedication and skill were evident as they battled their way into the Bronze medal playoff by beating Kings High School and Columba.   Although they ultimately fell short against Bayfield, the match was close, showcasing the team’s competitive spirit.

Many thanks to parents and staff who supported the team.  We look forward to further developing this team and Curling as a school sport in 2025.
