As a part of an assessment in Health Education and Hospitality, this project was a way to spread awareness and kindness. During week 6 and 7 of Term 2 kindness cupcakes were sold.
They were delivered during week 9. We managed to sell 468 cupcakes around our school to spread kindness. Students got sent a cupcake by a friend, teacher, or even themselves.
And it was a sweet success!!! Year 12s Emily, Emme, Ari, Elise and Virginia with the help and support of the year 12 Hospitality class, baked and sold a total of 468 cupcakes. The cupcakes were red velvet with cream cheese icing, with dark chocolate for the vegan gluten free. The process was guided by the incredible support of Mrs. Frost and Mrs. Weston, who helped us by providing the ingredients, helping us organise everything and being by our side to help. It was an amazing experience, lots of hard work, but worth it for the smiles that were on the faces of students when they received their kindness cupcakes.
