On the final day of Term 2, we were privileged to host visiting artist Ana Teofilo for two incredible art workshops—one with our Toi Māori students and another with staff.
Ana is a dynamic multidisciplinary artist whose practice blends Pasifika and Māori influences, using colour, symbolism, and storytelling to explore identity, connection, and culture. Her work often incorporates collaborative elements, inviting participants to express themselves through shared creative processes.
The workshops were a special opportunity for students and staff to connect through art, guided by Ana’s warmth, skill, and passion. Together, participants created a stunning collaborative piece that now hangs proudly outside Mr Hull’s office—a vibrant reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with purpose and creativity.
We extend a heartfelt thanks to Ana for sharing her time and talent with our kura. Her visit left a lasting impression and has inspired many to keep exploring their own artistic journeys.
Ka rawe – what a wonderful way to end the term!
