Otago University Physics more LIGO talk and experiments.

In June Senior Physics students and students from the Science Club enjoyed a lively talk and discussion about the LIGO project based in the USA, which is able to detect and measure Gravitational waves.

2018 was a very good year for Chess at Logan Park. Historically the school Chess Club has met just on Friday lunchtimes but this year seemed to be every interval and lunchtime, mainly led by the Year 10 students.

Korea Visit

In the first week of the Term One holidays, History teacher, Mr Fielding travelled with fourteen other senior teachers from throughout New Zealand to South Korea as guests of the Korean Government to visit their schools and experience the amazing culture of South Korea.
