Nanny Noi Hudson was honoured by staff, students and whanau in October 2013 for her outstanding contribution to Logan Park High School. At a special tribute evening in the school whare, speakers thanked Noi for her 18 years of Board representation as Adviser on Maori matters.

We had a great time surfing at St Clair beach. We got our wet suits and surfing boards for a really good price and the surfing teachers were really patient and kind.

Earlier this year I was lucky enough to be able to fill a spot on the Spirit of New Zealand 637th voyage from Bluff to New Plymouth (682nm (1263km). Another Logan Parker by the name of Matthew Scadden was also on this voyage.

The 2013 LPHS Boys 1st XI hockey team has had a good, fun year. We had an extremely promising start - our ranks were refilled with talented players, after a lot of people left at the end of last year.

During our lessons with Mr Winiata we learned a lot about Mori culture, music and Mori art as well as how their lives used to be before Europeans arrive in New Zealand.

For our second trip in term one, we went to Milford Sound. We set off from school in three vans for Te Anau. After a long drive we finally arrived at our hostel, which had an awesome view of the lake.

Logan Park High School defeated Taieri College in the final of the recent 20/20 Colts cricket tournament held at Mosgiel on the 18th and 19th of November.
