In Term 1 Tupuranga (Maori and Pacific Island Student Leadership Team) ran a Hui to welcome all new Maori and PI Yr9 students to the school, to meet them, and to introduce them to the different activities that they could be involved in and find support from.

Ocean Brydon and Karen Penaia were our Pacific Island NCEA Level 2 High Achievement Award winners for 2014 and were recognised at a ceremony this year.

A group of five Thai students spent April/May studying at Logan Park High School. The students were matched with Kiwi buddies who showed them around the school and helped them learn about the New Zealand culture. The Thai students went to the same classes as their Kiwi buddies.

50 Year 11 students are currently completing a Unit Standard which looks at how to identify a range of cheeses, investigates their cultural origins and gives the students an opportunity to prepare a variety of signature cheese dishes.
