Equus is a dark exploration of many themes including religion, passion and the role of medicine in society. The complex relationship between a psychiatrist and a troubled boy was performed brilliantly by Matthew Scadden and Blake McAlevey-Scurr.

Over 100 drama students went to see Tribes by Nina Raine along with Ms Johnson, Ms Fraser and Mrs Spicer. The quietly devastating Tribes does more than revolve around a young deaf mans place in his family: it makes you hear the world differently.

This year has seen Logan Park enter an unprecedented 12 teams playing futsal in term 1. With teams in every category, there were nearly a hundred students playing futsal, more than any other school in Dunedin.

This years annual Inter-House indoor rowing competition took place in Term 4 in October. Last years competition was won by Toroa by 6 points, and the competition was expected to be as fierce as it was last year.

We have had another busy year in Writers' Group. Held every Monday lunchtime and open to all who wish to come, Writers' Group can often get very loud! We enter competitions, share our writing, try out writing games and activities and manage to eat our lunch as well.

The Pacific is the calm ocean washing on the smooth sand of the land. Pearls are the jewels of the ocean. We are the Pacific Island Pearls of Logan Park High School (Polynesian Performance Group) who have just recently started up again since 2004.

The After School Homework Club has been an amazing experience this year. The teachers that are involved in the club are wonderful. They all bring something different. Mr Pirie for Science and Maths, Ms Brinsley for English, Drama and Careers, and Matua Tip for Te Reo Maori.
