Four countries, fifty hours of international fights and sixteen hundred kilometres of road travel. All this within three weeks made for an exciting and hectic European tour nicknamed Crossroads of Empires undertaken by twenty four students and eight adults from Logan Park and Queens High over the third term holidays.

Logan Park is a school that includes a diverse range of nationalities. Besides our ESOL students we have a growing number of students who were born overseas and have now chosen New Zealand in which to settle.

Three of our senior Futsal teams made it to the finals of their divisions. Our Senior Boys A Futsal team won their division in a thrilling final 2-1 against Otago Boys and our Senior Girls B team played KVC and won their division.

Aidan Braid, Deputy Head Boy has been selected as one of 14 young people in New Zealand to go on the 2016 Young Blake expedition in February next year. Initially he was selected as one of 52 students to attend an Enviro-Leaders forum in Rotorua during the April holidays.
