Although several talented senior players left last year, it has been great to see keen, beginner junior players coming along to play in the warmth of the Westpac Bowls Centre over winter and the future of bowls at LPHS looks very promising.

The Alliance Franaise held its annual Oral Concours at the University of Otago on 16 August 2014 and we were very proud that Ava won First Prize in Year 11 French in a wide field of very able French speakers from Otago/Southland.
