On Thursday 29th October, Sam from Orokonui Ecosanctuary came to visit some of our year 9 students as part of their Ecology unit.
We were lucky enough to hold one of New Zealand biggest stick insects (Argosarchus horridus) and meet a tunnel web spider (Porrhothele antipdiana). The students were fascinated.
