We celebrated a creative Library Week in August with a range of activities catering for everyone.
The Library Team organised lots of fun activities over lunchtimes including: Book in a Jar, Scavenger Hunt, Poetry Readings, Dress Up Once Upon a Time theme, Spine Poetry and a Lit Quiz. And all week the Library ran a photo booth, book sale, Match the Teacher and Blind Date with a Book.
Olivia Goldsmith won the Spine Poetry competition with Laura Cowles and Thomas Kennedy Highly Commended. The Dress Up mufti day was a highlight with lots of students and teachers dressed up as book characters.
Thanks to our wonderful Librarian, Michelle Summerfield and her keen team of student librarians, book club enthusiasts and others. A full report will follow in the next Park Press.
