As part of the Year 9 Library program students read a fiction book and take notes on genre/themes, characters, climax, setting and the author.
They then compile a short speech and make a static image representing something in the book that made an impression on them to present to their class. The assessment has three parts, response to text, speaking and visual communication.
This is an exciting time for the English teachers and the Librarian as we see and hear these wonderful presentations.
