Congratulations to Ava Straw who was the top Year 12 speaker in the Otago Alliance Francais French Speaking competition held at the University of Otago in August. Ava also won last year when she was in Year 11.
Ava will now compete at the Oral Concours oral national
final in September.
Ava is passionate about languages — she is competent in French, Italian, Chinese and English — and she takes every opportunity that she can to improve her languages.
