We celebrated Race Unity Day on March 21 with a special assembly.
Over 80 students representing 35 countries greeted assemblies in their own language. The German students sang 99 Luftballons (99 Red Balloons) the popular anit-war protest song by German singer Nena as part of their contribution. Race Relations Day aims to remind the world of the crucial role positive race relations and human rights play in our communities and lives. Students enjoyed a shared lunch as part of the celebration of the rich cultural diversity at Logan Park.
