At the end of Term 2 we farewelled a number of our wonderful international students.
We held a special afternoon tea where a number of speakers spoke about how much we appreciated the fabulous contributions the students had made to our school community. Emily Wu made a special cake with every student's name engraved in the icing.
Matua Tip Winiata presented special Maori bone carving pendants he had personally hand crafted for each student and spoke about the significance and symbolism of each one. We know we'll keep in touch with the students as many have made life-long friends with our Logan Park students.
