The Otago regional representatives and National Winners of the Shakespeare Globe Centre New Zealand were offered an offer they couldn't refuse.
The Theatre Studies Department at the University of Otago invited the drama students of LPHS the chance to open the famous Lunchtime Theatre season for semester two. This is a huge honour and the first time that any school has been invited to headline a Lunchtime Theatre show.
Allen Hall has seen many famous actors in its time and is recognised as one of the country's best training grounds for actors. Our very own Tim Foley (former Logan Park Head Boy) says that it was where he learnt his craft.
The students had a full technical run with Marty Roberts the theatre manager before they performed to a very responsive crowd.
Many thanks to Hilary Halba and Lisa Warrington as well as Marty Roberts for giving us this opportunity.
