Congratulations to Jacobi Kohu Morris and Ella Yiannet who won the country's top honours in Year 12 and Year 11 at the 2014 New Zealand Historical Association Awards, announced at the end of October.

Jake's Times of Protest — Little Big Horn and Gate Pa compared native North Americans and Maori, and Ella's research looked into the 1870's Julius Vogel scheme.

The prizes are a great endorsement of the quality of historical teaching, research skills and critical thinking at Logan Park.
