Congratulations to Nico Alvarez Rey-Virag who has been selected as a Youth MP
Nico has been selected by MP David Clark and will attend Youth Parliament in Wellington in 2022.
From Minister David Clark: "I’m pleased to announce my Dunedin Youth MP for Youth Parliament 2022 – Nicolas Alvarez Rey-Virag.
Nicolas is a year 12 student at Logan Park High School and is a passionate leader within his school community who is focussed on empowering and amplifying the voice of youth in New Zealand.
In his free time, Nicolas enjoys sports, choral singing and volunteering. He tutors younger students in athletics, in addition to being a member of his school’s Board of Trustees.
I’m impressed by his genuine determination and selflessness to serve his community and look forward to working with him during his tenure as my Youth MP in 2022."
