Food Technology

Food Technology continues to be an enjoyable and busy time.

Year 10 students completed a Vegetarian Snacks unit where they learnt about how to make a positive change and cooked modern healthy snacks such as Seed and Protein Snack Bars, Nadia Lim's loaded Vegetarian Wedges and Vegetable Stuffed Omelette Rolls. They then completed a Cupcake Challenge where they made a batch of cupcakes decorated to a theme for a classmate. 

Senior Food Technology students have all been following the Technology Design Process at various levels - preparing them for managing projects while trialing new products for the food industry. Jade produced Babka which is a complex bread of orange flavoured brioche with a chocolate filling.
