In August a number of our junior students met with our local community schools leadership team.
We are part of the Dunedin North cluster of schools called a Kāhui Ako (Community of Learning) which aims to "bring everyone into the learning journey."
The group have created a bold 25 year plan and are seeking student voice on the proposal. Our student leadership team will also be involved in being mentors in our local primary schools.
Dunedin North Intermediate, Port Chalmers, North East Valley Normal Primary School, Opoho and George Street Normal school, along with other primary, Early Childhood and other education providers (polytech and university) are all part of our Kāhui Ako.
We're looking forward to our students' voices and contributions to the plan.
