Music Camp

57 students had an absolutely wonderful time at the Music Camp at Tirohanga on 26 till the 28th of March.

The orchestra, choir and jazz band conducted rehearsals throughout the weekend, and we learned the nuts and bolts of much of the repertoire for the upcoming year.

In between rehearsals there was a ton of camaraderie, trampolining, jamming and hanging. And then of course on the Saturday night we had the annual camp whiteboard concert, an event that is always surprising and varied.

The highlight had to be Melicen writing a song on the spot based on themes decided by the audience. Hilarious, and it was a good song too!

We were so well fed by Darcy's Mum Susan Peters, and her kitchen team.

Thanks again to all of these parents who gave up their weekends to keep us fed.

Big thanks too to Ms Sara Brown (choir) and Ms Heike Cebulla Elder (controlling the general melee!)
