On May 11 the international students had a very enjoyable trip to the Albatross Centre where we saw four chicks and one adult bird resting on the headland.
Luckily the wind got up later after our tour and we got excellent views of albatross flying. While in the centre we had an interesting tour of the disappearing gun and small military museum. We also saw 3 seals on Pilots Beach.
On the way back, we stopped at the Penguin Cafe for a hot chocolate and to warm up from the cold.
