Senior students attended a Future-Focused Camp for 4 days in March.
The camp was held in the beautiful Catlins area.
Students experienced learning about leadership and team work, as well as identifying their personal strengths and challenging themselves. They worked in teams to solve problems, appreciated the time to contemplate futures, as well as having fun with abseiling, tramping, night walks and the confidence course at Tautuku Outdoor Education Centre.
Thanks to Dr Thompson for all the planning and organisation, and to Yvonne Caulfield, James Govan, Tip Winiata, Mal Thompson, Andrew Spittle and Kristan Mouat. Special thanks to Verna Brosnan and Catherine Randall provided all the nutritious and delicious meals, catering for the wide range of dietary requirements.
