Football Girls’ 1st XI: Season of Grit and Glory

The girls’ 1st XI has had an impressive season. A year of immense improvement, a lot of great wins, and many many goals.

The girls have shown a hunger to hone their skills and develop as a group, and the coaching staff is incredibly proud of how far they have come in such a short time.

Comfortably making our way to the finals, we were up against Trinity College. Taking the lead 2-0 early on and looking strong, Trinity managed to clinch the game 3-2. The girls fought hard to the very end, carrying some hearty battle scars along with them.

We are so so proud of this team and the successes they have had this year and look forward to what they will no doubt achieve in the future.

We  celebrate the outstanding achievement of two of our talented female footballers, Luka Templeton and Amelia Smith, who have been selected for the prestigious Southern United youth representative teams.

This selection is a fantastic recognition of their hard work, skill, and dedication to the sport, placing them among the top young players in the region.

These call-ups reflect the passion and commitment these young women bring to the game. Their success highlights the growing strength of women’s football at Logan Park High School.
