This year, Logan Park’s Senior Formal was held at the Dunedin Town Hall with more than 300 attendees from across Year 12 and 13.

The theme was The Clock Strikes Midnight – an homage to Cinderella and her glass slipper – and we definitely saw people go all out with incredible fairytale inspired outfits. Students made their entrances up the marble staircase and into the hall, which was decorated with a fairylight ceiling, moon lamps and mood lighting.

After dinner, the Formal Band (made up of Year 13s Finn, Callum, Hannah, Lois and Carolena) took over the stage with a setlist that had everyone out on the dancefloor. We followed up their roaring act with a dj who had everyone up and dancing at the end with his playing of the macarena. 

Everyone also made full use of the photobooth and photography backdrops, as well as the mirror in the ‘Fairy Grotto’, to get some stunning photos together in their outfits. There was an amazing roaming photographer who took the most stunning candid snapshot of our attendees dancing and having fun. Finally, the formal wrapped up with prizes and thank yous (just a little before any clocks were actually striking midnight).

A big thank you to Ms Whalan, who kept us all in order, Gravity Events, the Town Hall and to all the teachers who stayed behind after the festivities were over to help with the pack up.
