Farewell to Our Seniors – A Week of Celebration and Gratitude

Week 4 Term 4 marked the final days on campus for our senior students before they head into study leave, and it’s fair to say the school was buzzing with energy, colour, and emotion.

The Year 13 cohort brought fun and flair to their last week with a series of dress-up days, filling the corridors with costumes, laughter, and plenty of photo ops. From wild wigs to retro throwbacks, the creativity was on full display, and the mood was one of celebration and togetherness.

On Friday morning, we gathered in the Library for a special morning tea with Year 13 students and staff — a chance to pause, reflect, and say thank you. It was a warm and meaningful occasion, with kai, conversation, and a few quiet tears shared between those who’ve walked alongside one another over the past five years.

This group of Year 13s has been truly special. They’ve supported one another with kindness, lifted each other up in tough moments, and brought a sense of calm, care, and connection to our kura. Their leadership has been thoughtful and inclusive, and their presence has left a lasting mark on Logan Park.

We know they will go on to do great things in whatever path they choose — and we look forward to seeing what lies ahead for each of them.

To our seniors — go well in exams, take care of yourselves and each other, and never forget the community that believes in you.

Kia kaha, Year 13 — haere rā, and arohanui from us all.
