Exploring Futures: Careers Expo at the Edgar Centre

In Week Three of Term Two, around 100 Logan Park High School students attended the annual Careers Expo at the Edgar Centre, joining hundreds of other students from across the region for a valuable and engaging look into life beyond school.

The Expo featured a wide range of exhibitors, including universities, polytechnics, trades training providers, private institutions, employers, and government agencies—all ready to answer questions and provide insights into future pathways.

Students took full advantage of the opportunity to gather information, ask thoughtful questions, and reflect on the options available to them. Whether exploring tertiary study, apprenticeships, or other vocational routes, the Expo sparked important conversations and inspiration for what comes next.

It was a fantastic event, and we’re proud of how our students represented Logan Park with curiosity, confidence, and respect. A big thank you to the staff who supported the trip and helped make this experience possible.

We encourage whānau to continue discussing ideas sparked by the Expo—it’s never too early to start planning for the future.
