Clayton House Day

The rain did not dampen the Clayton House spirit, with students embracing the day with enthusiasm and a great sense of fun.

The day kicked off with a scavenger hunt in light drizzle, music humming in the background as teams spread out across the area. Many keen hunters returned with successful finds, setting a positive and energetic tone for the rest of the day.

Our Year 13 students did a fantastic job keeping the momentum going, organising and running a wide range of activities that catered for everyone. The programme included sack races, craft stations, capture the flag, a creative hat competition, a nature walk, and plenty of other games and challenges that encouraged participation, laughter, and house pride. It was great to see students of all year levels getting involved and supporting one another.

The day wrapped up back at school with the much-anticipated tug of war battle. After some fiercely contested rounds, 1/6 claimed the title for 2025, while the group teachers were convincingly outmuscled by the Year 13s to the delight of the crowd. Throughout the day there was a wonderful sense of teamwork, encouragement, and positive energy. Despite the weather, Clayton House created a memorable day that truly reflected the strength of their house spirit.
