A word from one of our Art and Media Prefects: Sam McGee
In Photo Club, we offer lots of unique opportunities to try out artistic techniques that school subjects may not go over. In Term One, we tried out scanograms (placing different objects onto the scanner, using different methods of compositions to make unique images) and cyanotypes (placing objects onto light sensitive paper, and exposing them to torchlight, creating alien white and blue patterns). In Term Two, we have done a lot of stuff in the darkroom, and we are looking at screen printing. In Term Three we will be doing film photography and entering photos in the school photo competition.
We are super open to trying out any suggestions from other students of anything that they want to try.
