International - Discipline

Minor breaches of the Code of Conduct will result in:

Discussion: between the student and classroom teacher/Group teacher/House dean/ Head of International Department in order to modify behaviour.
Imposition: Writing out the Code of Conduct or extra written work
Detention: Being kept in at lunch time or after school.
 

Serious breaches of the Code of Conduct could result in:

Stand down: this is when a student cannot attend school for a period of time up to five days.
Suspension: this is when a student cannot attend school until he/she appears before the school Board of Trustees* who will decide whether the student can return to school or be permanently excluded or expelled.
 

PLEASE NOTE: THAT IF STUDENTS USE DRUGS OR ANY OTHER HARMFUL SUBSTANCE ON SCHOOL PROPERTY, DURING THE SCHOOL DAY OR AT ANY SCHOOL EVENT, THEY WILL BE SUSPENDED AND WILL MOST PROBABLY BE SENT HOME.
